Everything this site stores on your device
One necessary item, one optional one, and a table listing both. Last revised August 2026.
1. What a cookie actually is
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so that the site can recognise the same browser on a later visit. Local storage does much the same job with a slightly different mechanism.
Neither can read files on your device, run a program or see anything you do on other sites. They are a memory, not a window.
2. The short version of our approach
This site uses one piece of strictly necessary storage and, if you agree to it, one measurement cookie. There is no advertising network here, no cross-site tracking and no data sold to anybody.
Choosing Necessary only costs you nothing. Every page, the ranking, the reviews and the support chat all behave identically either way.
3. Strictly necessary storage
The single necessary item is the record of your own cookie choice. Without it the banner would reappear on every page and your decision would be meaningless.
This item cannot be switched off, because switching it off would mean forgetting the preference you just expressed. It contains one short word and nothing else.
4. Measurement cookies
If you choose Accept all, an analytics cookie counts which pages are opened and which links are followed. We read the results as totals, which tells us whether the reviews are being read or ignored.
The measurement is never linked to a name, an email address or anything else that identifies you, and the totals are not shared with advertisers.
5. What we deliberately do not use
There are no advertising cookies, no social media pixels, no fingerprinting scripts and no session recording tools on this site. Nothing here follows you to another website.
This is a deliberate choice rather than an oversight, and if it ever changed this page would be rewritten before the change went live.
6. Cookies set by game sites
When you open a game through a link here you leave our domain. The game and the portal hosting it may set their own cookies, and they usually do.
We have no control over and no visibility into those cookies. Their policies apply from the moment the new tab loads, and reading them is worthwhile if that matters to you.
7. How the consent banner works
The banner appears on your first visit and offers two buttons that both make a decision. There is no hidden default and no pre-ticked box.
Your choice is written to local storage immediately, the banner disappears, and it stays gone until you clear the storage for this site.
8. Changing your mind later
Clearing site data for best-everuk.com in your browser settings removes the stored choice, and the banner returns on your next visit so you can choose again.
In Chrome and Edge this lives under site settings, in Firefox under cookies and site data, and in Safari under manage website data. Any of those routes works.
9. Blocking cookies at the browser level
Every modern browser can block cookies entirely or on a per-site basis, and private browsing windows discard everything when they close.
Blocking storage for this site is harmless. The banner will simply reappear each visit because the preference cannot be remembered.
10. Do Not Track and global signals
We honour Global Privacy Control. When a browser sends that signal, analytics are treated as declined without you needing to touch the banner.
The older Do Not Track header is honoured the same way. Since our analytics are aggregate and consent based, both signals produce the outcome you would expect.
11. Cookies and the support chat
The support chat runs entirely in your browser. Messages are held in the page while it is open and disappear when you close or reload the tab.
No transcript is written to storage or sent to a server, which is why Tully cannot recall what you asked yesterday.
12. Questions about this page
If something here is unclear, or you want to know exactly what is stored on your device after a visit, email us and we will answer with specifics rather than boilerplate.
The contact address is published in our privacy policy and reaches a person rather than an autoresponder.
13. Updates to this cookie policy
This page is rewritten whenever the storage we use changes, and the table above is the authoritative list at the revision date shown below.
If a new category of cookie is ever introduced, consent will be requested again before anything is written to your device.
Cookies and storage currently in use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |

| be_cookie_choice | Local storage, strictly necessary | Remembers whether you accepted all cookies or necessary ones only, so the banner stops appearing. | Until you clear site data |
| Server request log | Not a cookie, server side | Records page requests for security and fault diagnosis with a truncated IP address. | 30 days |
| Analytics measurement | Analytics, consent required | Counts page views and link clicks in aggregate. Only written after you choose Accept all. | 13 months |
| Third party cookies on game sites | Outside our control | Set by the game portal after you leave our domain. Governed by their policy, not ours. | Varies |
