The rules that apply when you read this site
Fifteen short sections covering what BestEver is, what it is not, and where responsibility sits. Last revised August 2026.
1. Agreement to these terms
By opening best-everuk.com you accept the terms set out on this page. They form the agreement between you and the people who operate BestEver for as long as you use the site.
If any part of this agreement is unacceptable to you, the appropriate response is to close the tab. There is no account to cancel and nothing to unsubscribe from.
2. What this site is
BestEver publishes editorial rankings and reviews of games that run inside a web browser. We are not a game developer, a publisher, a store or a platform, and we do not host, distribute or operate any of the games we write about.
Every score on this site is an opinion formed by playing the game. It is not a certification, a guarantee of quality or a statement of fact about any product.
3. Editorial independence
No developer, publisher or portal pays for a position on our board, and none of them is told in advance that testing is under way. Where a link earns us a commission that is disclosed, and the commission is checked only after the scoring is finished.
If we ever accepted payment for placement, this section would say so plainly. It does not, because we do not.
4. Accuracy and currency of content
Browser games change without notice. Load times, advertising frequency, control layouts and even the existence of a game can all change between our test and your visit, and the content here reflects what we found when we tested.
We re-check every ranked game each quarter and correct anything we find to be wrong, but we cannot promise that every sentence is accurate at the moment you read it.
5. Your responsibilities as a reader
You agree to use the site for personal, lawful purposes. You must not attempt to break into any part of it, disrupt its operation, scrape it at a volume that degrades service for others, or use automated tools to submit messages through the chat.
You are responsible for the security of the device you read this on and for any charges your connection incurs while you use it.
6. Third party links and destinations
Links to games lead to sites we do not control. We check that a link works and that it leads where we say it does, and beyond that the destination is entirely their responsibility.
Their terms, their privacy practices and their advertising are matters between you and them. If a link is broken or leads somewhere unexpected, telling us means we can fix or remove it.
7. Intellectual property in our content
The written reviews, the scoring methodology, the illustrations, the site design and the code behind it belong to BestEver. You may quote a short passage with a link back, and you may print a page for your own use.
Republishing whole reviews, rebuilding the board on another site or using our content to train a commercial model is not permitted without written agreement.
8. Trademarks and game names
Game names, developer names and any associated marks belong to their respective owners. They appear here for identification and commentary, which is a normal and lawful use in a review.
Their appearance on this site does not imply that any owner endorses, sponsors or is affiliated with BestEver in any way.
9. No warranty
The site is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be available without interruption, that it will be free of errors, or that any game we recommend will suit you.
Nothing in this section limits any consumer guarantee that applies under Australian Consumer Law and cannot be excluded by agreement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, BestEver is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, from any game you reach through it, or from any period during which the site is unavailable.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to supplying the content again, which for a free editorial site means correcting or republishing the page in question.
11. Content sent to us
If you send us a game suggestion, a correction or a testing report, you allow us to use it in our editorial work without payment or attribution. We will not publish your email address.
Please do not send confidential material. Nothing sent through email or the support chat should be treated as confidential, and we cannot enter into confidentiality obligations by receiving a message.
12. Availability and changes to the site
Pages may be added, rewritten or removed at any time, and games may be added to or dropped from the board as scores change. We keep old URLs working where a page has simply moved.
Occasional downtime for maintenance or hosting problems should be expected on a site of this size and is not a breach of this agreement.
13. Suspension of access
We may block access from an address that is attacking the site, scraping it aggressively or flooding the support chat. This is a technical measure, not a punishment, and normal readers will never encounter it.
If you believe you have been blocked in error, the contact address below reaches a person who can look into it.
14. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Australia, and the courts of Australia have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it.
If a court finds any clause unenforceable, that clause is removed and the rest of the agreement continues to apply unchanged.
15. Updates to these terms
These terms are replaced in full when they change, with the revision date shown below. We do not maintain a running list of amendments because it makes the document harder to read.
Using the site after a revision means the new terms apply. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
